In her third year at MCS as Mrs. Donegan’s assistant, Ms. Fey brings energy, laughter, and a childlike spirit to the Preprimary classroom. Each day, she and Mrs. Donegan welcome children ages 3-5 into a world of firsts—first discoveries, first friendships, and plenty of big smiles along the way. One of Ms. Fey’s favorite parts of the day is morning car line, where she sees her students’ faces light up with excitement to join their friends and dive into new adventures.

For Ms. Fey, this age is nothing short of magical. She loves watching each child’s personality emerge, with their honesty, curiosity, and humor bringing fresh perspectives and plenty of laughs. Her teaching approach is all about fun—she believes learning should be an enjoyable experience! Whether she’s doing cartwheels in the grass or dancing along with her students (who, she admits, share her dance style!), Ms. Fey is there to make every moment count.

Before joining MCS, Ms. Fey earned her BA in Communications from Cleveland State University. Her experience as an elementary school tutor and nanny for young children prepared her well for the dynamic world of Montessori. Outside the classroom, Ms. Fey channels her creative side into her photography business. She loves capturing moments, big and small, that tell meaningful stories.

When she’s not teaching or snapping photos, Ms. Fey enjoys spending time at the beach, indulging in her favorite salty and sweet treats, or sipping on iced coffee. She’s also a cat lover and a fan of anything that smells like baking—a perfect reflection of her warm, nurturing nature.

Ms. Fey’s vibrant presence, playful spirit, and love for creativity remind her students that school is a place to explore, laugh, and grow together.
