Our Outdoor Campus

At Montessori Children’s School, our campus is more than just a place—it’s an extension of the classroom and a living, breathing part of each child’s learning journey.

Nestled on a serene property in Westlake, Ohio, our school was designed to honor a child’s natural curiosity and love of discovery. In 2016, we introduced our Natural Playscape, thoughtfully built using earth, wood, stone, and native plantings. This space invites children to explore, climb, create, and connect—turning sticks into swords, boulders into castles, and tree stumps into launchpads for imagination.

The Tangled Treehouse – a haven for climbers and dreamers
Wooden Wonderland – a place to balance, build, and brave new challenges
Trailblazers Tributary – a winding path for movement and mindfulness
Green Thumb Glasshouse – where little hands grow big ideas
Marvelous Murals – collaborative works of art that tell our story
Root & Bloom Gardens – a place where tiny hands grow big things—from leafy greens to hearty root vegetables
The Mud Kitchen – a beloved corner where mud pies, potions, and pretend meals are joyfully created
