His leadership in the Bay Skate & Bike Park Foundation, Bay Village Bicycle Cooperative, and the Cahoon Creek Disc Golf Course has created lasting spaces for recreation and engagement. His efforts have earned him a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the Bay Village Bike to School Challenge and recognition as Bay Village Citizen of the Year.

As an MCS board member, Lawrence plays a key role in campus planning, outdoor initiatives, and the school’s broader vision for environmental and experiential learning. His passion for education and his commitment to fostering meaningful outdoor experiences ensure that MCS continues to grow as a place where children learn by doing—both inside the classroom and beyond.
