As both a Montessori educator and a board member, Ms. Nicole is deeply invested in the present and future of MCS. After first encountering Montessori as a parent, she was inspired to transition into teaching, earning her Montessori credential from the West Side Montessori School Teacher Education Program. She now brings that same passion and perspective to the MCS Board, ensuring that the voice of the staff is represented in decisions that shape the school’s growth and direction.

Ms. Nicole’s background is as dynamic as her approach to education. Before becoming a Montessori teacher, she worked as an editor in the comic book industry, honing her skills in communication, storytelling, and creative problem-solving. Originally from Philadelphia, she spent 16 years in New York City before settling in Lakewood with her family.

Recognizing the importance of bridging leadership and the classroom experience, Ms. Nicole joined the board to actively contribute to the school’s long-term vision. She is committed to fostering a strong, inclusive community where both students and educators thrive. With her unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on Montessori experience, she plays a key role in guiding MCS forward while staying true to its core values.
