Mrs. Roberts – Lower Elementary DIRECTRESS
Mrs. Roberts brings warmth and enthusiasm to the Lower Elementary classroom, where she finds joy in witnessing the tremendous growth her students experience during this crucial stage of development. Guiding young learners and nurturing their natural curiosity is a daily reward, and she loves seeing the pride her students take in their “aha!” moments—whether they’re mastering a math concept or discovering something new in nature.
Mrs. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University. She also recently earned a K-12 Reading Endorsement and is currently enrolled in classes with the Authentic Institute of Montessori, continually expanding her expertise.
Outside of school, Mrs. Roberts is a dedicated sports mom, cheering on her boys at their various activities. Her family loves spending summer days on the beaches of Lake Erie in Vermilion, OH. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, home projects, and photography. A fun fact: she and her husband got married in a helicopter at sunset over the Las Vegas Strip! They’ve since begun traveling internationally as a family and are excited to explore Ireland this summer.
Mrs. Roberts’s teaching philosophy centers on respecting each child’s individuality and getting to know their unique interests and developmental needs. She believes in creating a supportive, engaging environment where students feel valued and encouraged to pursue their passions.
